RACU - Education for All
RACU brings educational opportunities to vulnerable children in Uganda. When we succeed, we win multiple battles: learning improves, community engagement is reinforced, and children, particularly girls, can exercise their right to an education.
We believe we must eradicate harmful social attitudes and behaviors that undermine schools as supportive places of learning. Emerging evidence confirms that violence on the way to school and in school is a serious barrier to girls' learning. Child marriage also robs girls of their right to education, and RACU does not tolerate it.
